Sound the alarm hunnies! @laurenflax presented her harder side, in her words, “among the hardest sets [she’s] played,” and boi… she is STRONG.

Classically trained and grounded in the technical side of sound, Abby moves from circuits to studio, decks, and stage, shaping somethang exploratory, immersive, and escapist… outside the function, U might’ve caught her rockin’ synths with a lil Brooklyn band called LCD Soundsystem.

Her releases include her debut EP Ab Initio on @thebunkerny, as well as work on @acidcamp, @patterns_of_perception,@going_in_listening, and self-releases. Classically trained in violin, flute, piano, and singing, she later moved to NYC to study recording engineering, perform in post-punk bands, and become a regular at Wierd and The Bunker. Echiverri has since devoted her professional hours to engineering and manufacturing audio equipment for studios and clubs worldwide, an intimacy with technology that comes through in her music, where left-field influences, hardware manipulation, and unconventional processing shape an inventive, immersive sound. Today, she plays synths with @lcdsoundsystem and DJs her show, Tonal Fiction, on @thelotradio.
