We’re excited to welcome Paul W. McCormack to our studio for Portrait Drawing Foundations.

Paul is a portrait artist with over 40 years of experience working in oil and watercolor. Trained at the DuCret School of the Arts (where he later taught), he built a nationally recognized career, including a long affiliation with Portraits Inc. in NYC.

His work has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine (where he won First Place in Portraiture), and he’s received top honors from the Allied Artists of America and Oil Painters of America.

In this class, you’ll learn how to truly see — using angles, measurement, and observation to build strong, accurate portraits from a photograph reference.

Pleased to announce that my drawing, “Miss Rachel,” has been selected for Allied Artists of America’s Invitational Exhibition at the Reading Public Museum in Reading, PA. The exhibit runs from September 13th to January 11th, with an opening reception on Saturday, October 18th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
