New album coming out January 30th on @577records ! Last April, @eleanorelektramusic , Nat Mugavero and myself got together at the @lilypadinman to play together from a tender place of heart and deep listening. It was recorded by @nnenna.m.eze and mixed and mastered by @_vismund_cygnus . I am very excited to share this moment in time. There’s a track where you can hear Nat laughing as he finds out it was being recorded. The moments of silence that happened naturally between songs have been included here as their own tracks. It felt at the time like the sound of the room was part of the music. The noises of cars going by outside, Nat quietly praying. Somebody breathing or laughing. Playing with Nat and Eleanor always reminds me of the blessing and mystery of music and how it connects us to things i can sometimes forget we are connected to, the same way prayer does.
