Galeri Filamen @gmbb.kl presents Between Synthetic Dreams & Reality on autoplay, a solo exhibition by @maxjala , running from 11 April to 24 April 2026.

This exhibition is a real-time visual diary where your silhouette becomes a surface for shifting, AI-generated imagery.

A curated dream state is periodically interrupted by a live, unpredictable stream of short-form video,pulling the visuals into something faster, brighter, and less stable.

The work drifts between two dream states — one intimate, one driven by autoplay — where the artificial begins to feel sincere and the real begins to feel synthetic.

We’re excited to welcome @maxjala as the next artist in the Media Art Residency program with Filamen.

Max Jala will be undertaking his residency from 13th March to 13th April 2026, where he will spend a month experimenting, developing new ideas, and exploring his media art practice within the Filamen community.

Throughout the residency, audiences can expect a series of process sharings and studio explorations, offering a glimpse into the artist’s creative journey and experimentation with new media.
