Christmas 2025 ❤️

Happy birthday to my girl @joolssever This time last year you were pregnant, still going to gigs,throwing up in alleyways (sober) tearing up kitchen floors and wandering what kind of mum you were going to be. Well a year on and we have the most incredible, healthy baby, you gave birth to our Leni. You’re still renovating the house, going to gigs (Soberish) and living life with the most amount of wanderlust, but you have become the most amazing mum. Leni and I love you so much and I know if she has a paint brush amount of love for life that you do, we’re all going to do okay. Happy birthday babe, love always Leni + Matt xx

Leni’s first Greek holiday ❤️🇬🇷 2 weeks in Corfu, an incredible time just the 3 of us (and special guest @lukesever). So many amazing memories made. YASSAS!

2 years in the making and it’s finally here! It took a denim village to get this out and it’s the start of an incredible collab between the No1 Country Music cowgirl and and the No1 denim brand… @Wrangler ❤️ A product of countless meetings with Lainey. Her and the team designing, tweaking adjusting, dreaming and building. Months of building creative shoot concepts, planning, preproduction, replanning, readjusting, all whilst she was on tour! If you want you know what hardwork is, just walk a day in Lainey’s boots… she’s one of the coolest, toughest and funniest gals I’ve meet on this denim ride and I’m so proud to hang this one on the wall!

All that work came down to a 5am call time, and one cold day in the desert… the team crushed it!

I was the honorary member of an all female power crew, they let me be part of the magic ❤️❤️ a project I’ll never forget ❤️❤️

18 months of planning and thinking. 18 months of ‘let’s go back to the drawing board’ coffee chats, weekend calls and on holiday casting calls (thanks for being my biggest support @joolssever ❤️) The 18 months of strategizing, tweaking, staring out my creative window wandering if this was the right way to show up… this was going to be the biggest National TV spot for Wrangler in recent history… and guess what, it was! No creative agency, just us, just @Wrangler - the best team @johnnymeagher @enbaucom @jess @emmastarzacher @hcwheeler78

The morning diner! Funny how it’s the leveler, a neutral and honest place, a true slice of life in the USA. You can be a retired professor sitting next to a rancher, a college group on the way to an away game sitting near a mum and son. In the diner you’ll find commonality in the game last night or just the shared love for Cholula on ya ‘over easy’ eggs!

When Jools and I first came to the US 15 years ago, we woke up the very first morning and went straight to the diner… we had too! It was an institution, she had a STACK of pancakes and I had (American) bacon and eggs and couldn’t believe the endless coffee pours from this incredible waitress as she conducted the whole diner like a orchestra. Roll on 15 years, 32 states later, 32 diners later, this is my denim homage to that and the incredible working backbone of the US. That incredible idea from @martinbaker THAT song idea from @johnnymeagher, the production leadership from @emmastarzacher the marketing glue and masterclass from @enbaucom and @jess and of course my fellow Brit and legendary director @scottmafia. Jake picked up this idea and took it to the next level. A perfect partnership and vision from him and all the crew at @ridleyscottcg - the best Ad partnership I’ve ever experienced.

It’s a pretty wild time in this world right now, but this one is for those who still get up in the morning, no matter what. For those that pull on their @wrangler jeans one leg at a time and seize the day.

This one’s big for me…🤠 2 years in the Wrangler creative saddle and I was briefed to bring our No1 Cowboy Cut Jean creatively back to Europe (no pressure 😬) The 13MWZ, 75 years old, an icon, worn by the greatest cowboys in history,the Crown Jewels of the Wrangler brand. 5hrs in the baking California desert, 3 killer guys, a cowboy, a dirt bike, a mix of vintage Wrangler product, white-gloved from the archive in Greensboro. 5 jeans styled with a homage to our Western heritage, juxtaposed against our modern guys styling aaaand that sunset 🔥🔥 Oooh and of course… Ry Cooder playing in my mind ❤️

This campaign launches this week in Europe, the Emea team did an amazing job bringing it to life, instore, online and social 🔥🔥the sales are already 📈 LETS GOOO!!
