We asked her about the details and influences that shape her work.
Q. What design detail instantly elevates a space?
A. Finish continuity — the details that make a space feel intentional.
Q. How would you describe your design language?
A. Intentional. Layered. Livable.
Q. Which designer inspires you most?
A. Kit Kemp for her storytelling through pattern and color.

Driven by detail, emotion, and the unexpected, her approach to interiors is centered around how people truly experience a space.
We asked what defines great design and what most people overlook.
Q. What’s one design detail you believe instantly elevates a space, but most people overlook?
A. Lighting! Not only the show-stopping lighting fixtures, but also the detailed lighting accents. Architectural lighting, while it’s not sexy, will strongly affect how people experience a space. Fixtures like under-cabinet lighting, art lighting, and stair tread lighting, while not visually interesting when off, significantly impact how people live in and experience a space.
Q. How would you describe your personal design language in three words, and how does it show up in your work?
A. Detailed, personalized, and surprising. I love creating spaces that are unique in how people experience their surroundings. I note details about clients’ day-to-day lives and how design can positively impact their routines. I also love implementing materials or furniture that are out of the ordinary. Creating that moment of surprise while maintaining the integrity of the overall design.
Q. What’s the one piece or element you always build a room around?
A. I create spaces that are emotion based. Focusing on how people want to feel while experiencing their environment.
Q. Which designer lives rent-free in your mind, and why?
A. Johnathan Adler. His use of color and unexpected design elements inspires me to push the boundaries of what is possible.
