522HP / 452TQ at 32 PSI on the Precision Turbo Stage 1 Factory Upgrade for the MK7 Golf platform.
After running 10.92 @ 125 MPH without knowing the exact power figures, we made our first trip to the dyno to see exactly where the car stood. The first run keeping the exact same tune as the 10.92 run the car put down 489hp to the hubs at roughly 29–30 PSI with conservative timing.
From there, Flecha Performance turned it up slightly to see what the turbo had left. With just 2 more PSI and a bit more timing, the car made 522hp and 452tq at 32 PSI peak on the hub dyno.
That’s a solid 30+ horsepower gain while still keeping the power delivery smooth, efficient, and consistent.
The current goal is to push the car into the 10.7s full weight, then chase a 10.5 quarter-mile pass with some possible weight reduction. We don't feel we can go below 10.5 with this turbo unless we really cut some weight.
This setup is proving to be a strong combination for the MK7 platform:
