I consider myself very lucky to have grown up before everyone had smart phones.

The internet has been a brilliant tool to see art and get inspired, but it feels like this platform, although filled with inspiration can also really cause us distress. With an increasing prioritisation of paid content, and proliferation of things designed purely to grab and hold our attention, i thought it important to question why I engage.

Over the last 9 monthsI’ve been makingabstractand experimental works that have felt less related to tattooing and illustration, so have made a separate website for this work. I have been trying to show a more in depth insight into my ideas, process, inspirations and motivations as a blog.

I love making art but in this space where ❤️ is just like, I don’t think I like what I did once ❤️ about it.
