ADE Friday 24/10 — Free Event
Repere & Sol Systems return for an ADE showcase at NDSM, taking over the spacious riverside venue IJ-Kantine. For the first time in this beautiful, open space, IJ-Kantine will be transformed into a full sound experience — beginning with a listening session and evolving into a groovy night program.
The Transylvanian custom red sound system, Sol Systems, will be configured to complement both the early listening experience and the later dancefloor session.
To add an extra layer of warmth and definition, we’ve teamed up with LA-based mixer company Cometa. They’ll be bringing their first mixer, The Cometa M2, for its European debut at ADE. The Cometa M2 rotary blending preamplifier marries swiss design with the highest grade audiophile discrete circuitry in the pursuit of audio perfection for the club and home. Together, Sol Systems and Cometa will create an end-to-end hi-fi audio chain — from needle to speaker — exploring a new level of quality, warmth, power, and clarity.
The listening session will open with Montse, who will guide an exploration through ambient and soundscapes. Sabe will follow with a selection of downtempo and dub, transitioning slowly into the night program. Rising selector Akcel and emerging duo SAMEFACES will then take the lead, driving the dancefloor deep into the night.
