Been a fun few weeks getting apparel ready for all the local teams working with @battleriversports for Bawlf, Killam, Camrose, Daysland, and Bashaw.

I wish my kids loved playing ball,I'll just have to keep my old bones on the diamond for another year instead.

I only get so many birthdays with my kiddos and have taken the day off every year to do whatever they want. They're going by fast.

Today I celebrate this amazing wingnut. He may be taller than menow but he will always be the little tiny boy with the old man spirit in my heart.

Sometimes new stock of different items just goes together.

This is cuteness overload... I was making all the new fabrics into hooded towels to restock the shelves here and at @thefreshwifecollective, when these earrings arrived.

I'll keep smiling sewing these adorable and soft hooded towels today dreaming of lakr days while watching it snow.

After making them for over 18 years now, hooded towels are still one of the most popular things I sew. And because they come in baby size, big kid size, and teen/adult size, there is no age limit on fun.

Took 40 years of sewing (man, I'm old) for me to hit my finger with a sewing needle.

If you're going to do it, do it well. Full tilt, peddle down on the leather machine.... looked away to multitask. A 110/18 right into my thumb.

It's Sparkle sewing season!

There must be something in the aor because ive started getting requests to alter and hem grad dresses this week.

I do hemming and alterations at the store on Grad/Bridesmaid dresses and will be starting to fill the to-do list. I try to take as many people as possible but do ask that you come in as early in the year as possible (I know its not always possible)

So if you see me out at the post office, hockey arena, or grocery store with glitter all over me.... you know why.

What is your favourite ground beef GO-TO recipes? I need new ideas.

We have restocked ground beef.... with over 1000lbs.

Now is the perfect time to stock up for winter comfort meals... and preplan BBQs. (Because we know summer is coming but Canadians BBQ regardless of the weather!)
