This piece is coming along! I’ve tried a few new techniques and feel like I may be into them , this is still in progress and I know it looks a bit different then when I posted it before,,,,, but as I said it’s not done😊 and I feel it’s going in the right direction. This is one of the products produced by accident on a Sunday evening, where instead of a few people coming over,17artists showed up instead 😂 it probably was one of the coolest evenings I’ve had in a long time getting to meet people who are putting in the work every day, listening to their stories and being allowed to be a fly on the wall at some points. This all happened at @youngest_waffle and @queenofthedregshouse ( suddenly no one is surprised 😂😂👏🏼👏🏼these guys are amazing) but as we sit around and talk about everything from Art to politics to life, we’re passing around different art pieces and contributing something to them. This was the contribution I brought home and I felt like I had won a trophy just being around such talented people and then rendering a piece of art that I could take home with me sort of a piece of historic memorabilia if he will of a moment that I’ll be able to remember, I’d like to thank each and every one of those people for contributing to this piece and if you read this far, thank you for doing that as well. The artwork is much more than visual. It’s a story. It’s a minute in time. It’s a something that happened once and serves as a reminder of a great moment. Soon passed.
