Hearing the music in its early stages instantly transported me to that coming-of-age phase where progressive rock often becomes the language for loneliness, intensity, being unheard, and reaching outward. The album moves between quiet, melodic tenderness and raw, screaming rage, and we wanted the visuals to hold both - warmth in the anger, and solitude in the atmosphere.

The image shows Adi’s shadow layered with the shadow of a dried flower, created using turmeric printing, a process that naturally produces deep yellows and reds, echoing the emotional heat and introspection of the sound.

This project is as an exploration of how the same form could serve different functions.I started by 3d printing a polygonal 3d form, which was then casted to create a plaster mould. Once the mould was ready, I prepared a porcelain slip from scratch to create multiple versions of the same form. Each was treated with a different glaze and different surfaces were elilmanted to enable different functions. Seen in the 5th picture are 2 of 5 casted objects, which serve as table lamps in different ways. One is left hollow to create a glowing light, the other has one surface carved out to create a backlight effect. In the absence of the bulb, they serve as tiny planters or pen holders. The choice of using porcelain was intentional as it allows light to pass through it depending on the thickness of the walls.

I recently moved to London to pursue a dual master's degree in Arts and Engg at UAL and KIT. I now have access to some incredible workshops, which means I've been working on many personal projects on the side. From exploring a line of ceramic products, making my own coffee table, exploring different techniques and technologies, digital and manual - I'm excited to share more soon!
I have never had this much time to dedicate towards purely thinking and doing and I'm looking forward to immersing in exploring my practice!
