…from a #leslieodomjr soundcheck in Lancaster PA we’re just warming up and I went live to catch us demonstrating a musical concept called Theme & Variation where a “sentence” or “word” is stated and is further developed by adding to, subtracting from, or changing said language fragment to become something different yet the same in a way. … for my piano students, what I’m doing at the end here is called the “Herbie” diminished “Grip” ascending in minor thirds.
