Every year I try to find a word or a thought that helps inform where I want to pour most of my creative time and energy into. And being a contributor: to culture, to people’s lives and to my surroundings has become it.

More and more we have turned up the volume on creative extraction. How can I profit or benefit off of someone else’s output? What prompt will get me further? How can I scale? How can I codify ideas into data? How can I turn this community into brand loyalists?

None of this is wrong, but there needs to be balance. For you to be able to take, you must also contribute.

Todo ano eu tento encontrar uma palavra ou um pensamento que ajude a orientar onde quero investir a maior parte do meu tempo e da minha energia criativa. E ser um contribuidor — para a cultura, para a vida das pessoas e para os meus arredores — passou a ser isso.

Cada vez mais temos aumentado o volume da extração criativa. Como posso lucrar ou me beneficiar da produção de outra pessoa? Como posso gerar isso? Como posso escalar aquilo? Como posso codificar ideias em dados? Como posso transformar esta comunidade em consumidores fiéis à marca?
