Less, But Better: Design That Achieves More

We are honored to be part of this exhibition.

This exhibition focuses on the classic works of Rams, presenting the complete trajectory and profound influence of his design philosophy through horizontal comparison and vertical tracing.

Exhibited works include: those by Apple‘s Chief Design Officer Jony Ive, who integrated Rams into the digital age, reshaping the design language of consumer electronics with integrated materials and seamless forms; works by Japanese design master Naoto Fukasawa, known for his “unconscious design”; and works by B&O designer David Lewis.

“Less”represents a return to essence after stripping away superficiality; “better”represents the ultimate pursuit of function, texture, and humanity. This exhibition is both a design dialogue across time and space and a testament to the enduring power of “Less, But Better”as the foundation of modern industrial design.

- The exhibition will run until August 31, 2026.
Location: Lobby, 1F, Administrative Center, Xi’an Eurasia University

- Organized by: Xi‘an Eurasia University
Co-organized by: Brand Communication Department of Xi’an Eurasia University, Design Museum of Xi‘an Eurasia University

The HAVEN / OTW by Vans Authentic 44 Vibram approaches an archetype with restraint — refining rather than reimagining.

The result is a study in considered utility: familiar in form, elevated through craft, and grounded in a shared language of functional design.

Available exclusively at HAVEN on Friday, March 20th at 10am PT, online, in-stores, and at our NYC pop-up.

HAVEN / OTW by Vans Authentic 44 Vibram

Among iconic works and the legacy of Dieter Rams, Peter Kapos moves with studied clarity.

As a design historian, curator, and director of Das Programm, his practice reflects a belief that objects should be precise, purposeful, and built to hold relevance over time.

Available exclusively at HAVEN on Friday, March 20th at 10am PT, online and in-stores.

Mobile Musik Kiosk is a new micro sound based installation designed and built by Wilson Brothers.

The playful, agile and easily transportable structure houses an off-grid / battery powered sound system, that allows us to play music – on 7″ vinyl – in locations not usually associated with amplified sound.

Clad entirely in material recycled from our 20 Years exhibition structure – the side panels feature concealed flip-up stands, designed to hold a pair of @richmedina 45 bags.

The Mobile Musik Kiosk made its debut @shoreditchdt festival in September 2025.

Listen back to recordings from our sets at the @das_programmagram exhibition, and the Pochana 185 Thai Street Food festival @fora_space 🎵 / link in bio

(+ player links at the bottom of project page.)
