Experience Cult Research Group finally brings Plato’s The Symposium to Los Angels! We warmly invite you to join in an evening of Symposiastic Symposiating with fellow Symposiasts, and facilitated by dedicated Symposiarchs.

On April 16, 17, and 18 we will be gathering to consider that mostly lovely concept of all, Eros, in an evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and light refreshments. Tickets—linked by way of my bio or the code in the poster—are strictly limited so early reservation is highly encouraged.

Please do join for the first edition of Hornstrumpot!, an evening of performance works spanning theater, music, dance, clown, and really anything else maybe too.
It is my honor and pleasure to be presenting (mostly) new works by Rory James Leech, Dylan Marx, Matthew Sater, and Willa Fossum.
Such great artists are they all that I feel no further need for promotional words— tickets can be reserved in my bio.

THE EXPERIENCE LABORATORY

Experience Cult Research Group invites you to the first installment of The Experience Laboratory: an eight day residential movement and performance workshop hosted at Little Pond Arts Retreat in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley from June 26 – July 5. The retreat will be a full-scale long-form paratheatrical event in which participants will explore new ways to move and be with others while cooking, cleaning, sleeping, and working creatively in communal space. We will explore a variety of movement exercises and activities with participants to act as a base of vocabulary to draw on. In the second half of the project, we will build on this vocabulary to dive into more open-ended improvisations. This workshop should provide participants with practical skills and techniques for arriving more fully in their bodies and with each other

In our increasingly alienated social, political, and cultural landscape, we want to reignite total experience in the human body. How can we create the conditions to see others without judgement, to move with more potential, and to actively shape our culture in a way that reflects what we really want to see in the world?

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

It’s been a couple years since we hosted something like this, and we expect an increased level of interest. This time around we have put together an application for potential participants. These applications will close on Tuesday, March 3rd. Fill them out soon! Please share this opportunity with anyone and everyone who might be interested!

Thrown hither and tither by the typhoons of favor, Experience Cult Research Group has come to present our new short work "Ethics" this coming Friday for one night only.
Ethics will be preceded by some exciting and existentially ebullient entertainments by @mrdeanevans and @gabekessler_ , and followed by a rendition of music by Los Angeles Woodwind Skill Share.
