@bethnalgreen_naturereserve Community Ecologies 2026 – Open Call!

Bethnal Green Nature Reserve is offering micro-grants for workshops, part of our 2026 Community Ecologies programme.

We’re looking for ideas that address climate change and climate adaptation. We are particularly interested in experimental ideas that are accessible, engaging, rooted in everyday knowledge, lived experience, and care for people, ecosystems and place.

We welcome proposals including:
• Talks, walks & skill-sharing
• Creative / cultural workshops
• Practical neighbourhood solutions
• Habitat building & land care
• Mutual aid & climate justice
• Advocacy, storytelling, and more…

📍 Workshops take place at (or near) Bethnal Green Nature Reserve
💻 Up to 3 online talks grants available
💷 £160.00 (£120 fee per session + £40 expenses - if unspent can be claimed as preparation time)

🗓 Programme runs: May–Nov 2026 (fortnightly, Saturdays)
⏰ Deadline to apply: Midnight, 16 February 2026
