We need your help to protect our schools!

In January Governor Newsom proposed delaying $5.6 billion in Prop. 98 funding for our public schools and community colleges. If the delay is approved in the upcoming state budget, school districts across the state will lose an average of $909 per student in ADA funding, with many already planning reductions in programs because of the proposal.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Our elected leaders can and should do better!

Please take a moment to sign our letter urging the Governor and the Legislature to fully fund Prop. 98 and protect our students and our public schools.

State revenue is coming in higher than projected making these cuts unnecessary.

Classified professionals are the first people students see in the morning and the last they see at night. We’re here to celebrate the fact that we ‘Do It All’ to keep school running safely and successfully.

This week is more than just a “thank you”; it is a coordinated effort to demonstrate that our schools don’t just run on brick and mortar, but on the tireless, multi-tasking labor of the professionals who fix, feed, transport, and support our students every single day.
