myReusables began back in 2018. The ethos of the company centres around sustainability and how to make more earth friendly choices. myReusables initially focussed on bringing awareness of alternatives to single-use and plastic at markets around London.

Following an overwhelmingly positive response, Wednesday 1st February 2023 sees the launch of a brand new online shop myreusables.com where customers can find all of the myReusables products plus other items that meet the company’s high ethical and sustainable standards.

The founder of myReusables, Caroline, loves nothing more than chatting to people about the founding principles of the company and will she continue to do markets around London alongside the online shop. She said, “I am such a strong believer in small changes making a big difference. It’s all about the starting the zero-waste journey and seeing where it takes you. Changing your mindset and thinking re-use rather than single-use is what it’s all about, imagine if everyone did that! I absolutely love the phrase ‘we don’t need a handful of people doing zero-waste perfectly, we need millions of people doing it imperfectly’”.

The online shop launches on Wednesday 1st February 2023 at midday and myReusables are offering all customers 10% off until midnight on Sunday 5th February 2023 with the promo code LAUNCH.

Please please please if you only do one thing on this Monday evening, let that one thing be signing up to the big plastic count. @greenpeaceuk and @everydayplastic have teamed up to launch this initiative, but they need as many people as possible to take part. All you need to do is keep a tally of all your plastic waste over a week (details of what to count are in your sign up pack) Remember, this isn’t about feeling guilty about plastic use, this is a way to show the government how much single-use plastic is being thrown away every single week; and it’s time to do something about it.
