“RGBMTL is a Montréal-based collective and non-profit organization founded in 2022. RGBMTL’s primary mission is to foster community by celebrating the talent and diversity of emerging and established artists active on the Tezos blockchain, as well as the broader digital arts. This celebration manifests as a collectively curated exhibition happening once a year at the end of August.

Each year, RGBMTL invites 25 artists to select 5 to 10 artists each, creating an extensive “collective curation” highlighting a wide range of practices from creators worldwide. Artworks are exhibited for 1 minute each as multi-channel installations spanning different formats (projections, CRT monitors, LED panels) creating a unique exhibition experience, elevating the artworks and reflecting on their initial context of diffusion (online, social media and blockchain).”

This is my first piece incorporating RGB, done so in honor of the RGBMTL event that took place on Aug 22 - 23 in Montreal.

Handcrafted over many days with love, using my own intelligence.

I had recently listened to a lecture series by @seanmcarroll
about time titled “Mysteries of Modern Physics: Time”. ⏳

Shortly after,Doug messaged me asking if I ever considered creating a piece based on the concept of time.
 
After some deep contemplation, the direction started to become clear to me. Minimal in colorway, slightly 50’s / 60’s scientific journal meets 80’s zine. Core elements representing diff aspects of time / space, and a subtle overall animation. This is one of my fave pieces to date. 🔮✨
 
This piece is also unique in that it has two subtitles hidden within the title, many of my previous pieces have one. There may also be another hidden message somewhere within the art 👀

Cover art, logo design and individual episode art for the Hide and Seek season four podcast. Honored to have been chosen by James to work on this, big fan of his show and psyched to use my art to help hopefully raise more awareness and visibility to his cause… to help find Shane Barton.

Each episode of the season introduces those closest to Shane and retraces his final known steps, diving into the complexities of family, suspicion, and the unsettling nature of an unsolved disappearance.
