In the early hours of Tuesday morning, we said goodbye to my best friend, my beautiful mum at home. Soul mate to Sean, Sister to Christine, Gigi to Kiki, Dog Mumma to Boo, Partner in crime to Lisa and Best Friend to SO SO many of you.

My heart is broken, the pain unmatched, and I don’t yet understand how I’m meant to go on without her. For now, what I will say is this…

Mumma P was truly one of a kind. She was adored by so many - someone who could step onto a bus and, by the end of the journey, have made a friend and been handed a gift by a stranger. That was just who she was. She had time for everyone, no matter who they were or what they were going through. Kind, selfless, endlessly giving… I often thought she must be a real-life angel, and I really hope there is a higher purpose for her.

Beautiful inside and out - a woman everybody loved. Stylish, colourful and fabulous. Courageous, warm, and so incredibly funny. The world is going to feel a whole lot dimmer without her in it.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, we said goodbye to my best friend, my beautiful mum at home. Soul mate to Sean, Sister to Christine, Gigi to Kiki, Dog Mumma to Boo, Partner in crime to Lisa and Best Friend to SO SO many of you.

My heart is broken, the pain unmatched, and I don’t yet understand how I’m meant to go on without her. For now, what I will say is this…

Mumma P was truly one of a kind. She was adored by so many - someone who could step onto a bus and, by the end of the journey, have made a friend and been handed a gift by a stranger. That was just who she was. She had time for everyone, no matter who they were or what they were going through. Kind, selfless, endlessly giving… I often thought she must be a real-life angel, and I really hope there is a higher purpose for her.

Beautiful inside and out - a woman everybody loved. Stylish, colourful and fabulous. Courageous, warm, and so incredibly funny. The world is going to feel a whole lot dimmer without her in it.

I know this news will bring a lot of sadness to so many people who loved her, but she would want us to celebrate her life - and that’s exactly what we’ll do. More details to follow on her life celebrations next week (likely within last two weeks of April).
