Thanks for keeping us company last month.

The goal for these events has been to offer an easy way to meet up. A place and time to see old friends and make new ones. No cover, no reservations. Early to late(ish). Beers, board games, and boogying always all on the menu.

We’re holding it down under the tent with our friends at @whistlebuoybrewing every Thursday for the rest of the month! And got a few more events to share soon. Still hashing out a few details but get May 22nd, July 17th and 29th in the calendars!

Tomorrow we dance!

Music selectors have been curated by @rush2thefloor and @_publicassembly for an open air, daytime dance session, backed by the ocean and city skyline.

@lilweeezie is reppin’ our garden city stomping ground while @djlorneb is coming in from Calgary. They’ll bring upbeat, bouncy house with the balearic flare for all our dancing needs!

Dex and Dual CTZN known to many from their work behind @__quilt___ are linking up with @blacasphalt and @bo__meets__world for a long night of soulful house, boogie, post-disco, and new wave.

In the booth this Thursday we cannot wait to welcome Lorne B and Weezie for a special B2B. Lorne B is coming all the way from the other side of the Rockies to join us. From @basscoastfest to @full.house_yvr he’s played alongside everyone from @imdanemacdonald to @ben___ufo

Hell be joining our local powerhouse @lilweeezie for an extra special set. She has played everywhere from @paradiseculturalsociety to @rush2thefloor to @club_loading uplifting and locking in dance floors wherever she goes

As always these Thursday nights are a night to move at your own pace. Dancing shoes or Ugg’s. Slippers or loafers. Move your feet or move some chess pieces. The intention is to offer an easy way to get together. Whether sitting, standing, or spinning in circles we hope to see ya Thursday <3

In the booth this week is @bo__meets__world bringing us 3 hours of balearic breezers, lovers rock, and dub-infused disco.

@whistlebuoybrewing has been rolling out a few new beverages to try. Paloma IPA’s, lemonades, kombuchas. The grub station is softly opening up too but you’re always welcome to bring a bite in from elsewhere as well. And as always cards and games are at the ready for your use.

We’re also lucky to have @cowgirloracle under the tent with the tarot cards. See what the future holds!

Back at it this Thursday for the last night of our April pop-up!

We’ve got two of our favourite selectors from @cfuvmusic joining us in the booth. Rena (@serenaasimpson ) is the host of Overstanding Hour where you can hear everyone from Nina Simone, to Gil-Scott Herrin, to Erykah Badu. Anna (@areakeying ) is another regular at CFUV who was played alongside Rena, myself, @digitalcowbboy , @dxtrwllms , and @themoleok at for our station fundraiser at Rush.
