Happy 69th Independence Day to my fellow Ghanaians 🇬🇭
Earlier today I released my first single “Homecoming.”
It felt right to share this on a day that celebrates freedom, identity and Ghanaian pride.
The song was inspired by my first trip back to Ghana and the feeling of reconnecting with where you come from.
Remember: home is not just a place, it’s a feeling.

What do they know who only domino know?
What if one of the gifts of philosophy, understood as guides to living ethically, resides in the game of domino?
What if domino can act as a lens to appreciate how despite almost insurmountable odds, Caribbean diasporas in the Netherlands put forward an inclusive politics of belonging in their work of arts?
What if the philosophy of domino, transposed to an anthropological film, serves as an invitation for domino players and lovers to start a inter-trans-cultural conversation on how to live ethically with difference?
That conversation would have to include places like Curaçao, Aruba, Argentina, the Netherlands St. Maarten, Mexico, Italy, South Africa, Venezuela, Jamaica, Brazil, Egypt, Colombia, China, the Dominican Republic, among others.
We initiate the inter-trans-cultural conversation in Aruba @casdicultura_aruba and Curaçao Norman de Palm (NOS) Theater in January 2026 when we launch the film.
