As you may know… I have joined the judging panel for The Wedding Industry Awards this year! 💫 My bridal journey started over 24 years ago after completing my BA (Hons) in Costume Production. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of Britain’s leading bridal designers, open and manage boutiques and eventually launch The Bridal Pixie in 2011.

Alongside running The Bridal Pixie, I’m also the proud owner of Coco Couture. Together, these roles allow me to work closely with around 15 bridal boutiques and personally support more than 350 brides every single year with their dream dress… from intricate alterations to large-scale customisations. 👰✨

Over the years I’ve been honoured to receive recognition in the industry, winning The Wedding Industry Award for Best Bridal Seamstress/Designer in the East of England three times, and most recently being awarded Highly Commended at the Nationals.

To now be part of the judging panel feels incredibly special. It’s such a privilege to celebrate the amazing talent and passion that makes our bridal industry truly shine. 🌟

I loved my dress when I bought it in June 2025, but when I tried it on again in November once my order had arrived, I felt really disappointed, as mine seemed to look so different from the sample dress.

That all changed at my first appointment at The Bridal Pixie. Elisa listened carefully to all my concerns and, within minutes, completely put my mind at ease. After months of worrying, I knew I was in the right hands and that she would bring my dress back to life.

Elisa is a true master of her craft. She talks you through every alteration she’s making and makes the whole process feel collaborative and reassuring. She also altered three of my bridesmaids’ dresses/jumpsuit with the same ease, nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it be cutting endless layers of tulle out of my dress until I was happy, or sewing a bra into one of my bridesmaids outfits with a low, open back, nothing fazed Elisa at all!

Elisa is a true master of her craft. She talks you through every alteration she’s making and makes the whole process feel collaborative and reassuring. She also altered three of my bridesmaids’ dresses/jumpsuit with the same ease, nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it be cutting endless layers of tulle out of my dress until I was happy, or sewing a bra into one of my bridesmaids outfits with a low, open back, nothing fazed Elisa at all!

By my final appointment, the dress had been completely transformed and I fell completely back in love with it. I couldn’t have been happier with how it looked on the day.

My alterations were done by @thebridalpixie , my real life fairygodmother. They even cut a section of my mums wedding dress into a heart and sewed it on the inside of the left hand side on the chest of the dress, so there is so much history woven into the fabric.

My glam was done by @bridalbelles who was incredible and I have never looked more beautiful.
