New album ‘Love Crash’ out today (listen at link in bio). “Cracked open and not sleeping, I reached for the guitar,” says Block. “In retrospect, each song ended up being the rung of a ladder that led me out of a very dark place. It was a rich vein of heartbreak to mine, and I made it out—but, just barely. I've never been more proud of an album in my life!”

From earlier releases I am familiar with the music of the versatile New York based indie artist Block. With ‘Love Crash’ he now presents a full album that not only includes previously published tracks like 'Over And Over’ but also stands out through new compositions and substantial lyrics.

The album explores, among other themes, heartbreak and loss, as well as how the musician finds a way out of a very dark phase through his songs and returns to life. At the same time, lively and euphoric moments come to the surface and merge with a dynamic guitar-driven sound.

'Love Crash’ forms a bridge between demanding rock and folk-influenced songwriting and offers a range of memorable melodies. With an expressive vocal performance, the artist captures the attention of his audience directly and leaves a strong impression thanks to his storytelling character.
