Form tip 101 โ€” Letโ€™s talk about the doโ€™s and dontโ€™s of spine alignment in Pilates ๐Ÿค“
DONT: overarching.
I see this all the time! Arching the back too much and losing that deep core connection! Instead, we want to focus onย imprinting the spineย to the mat before rolling up.
DOS: neutral & imprint.
How to roll up: Start with aย pelvic tiltย (tucking your pelvis under slightly) to activate your glutes and core, then slowly peel your spine off the mat one vertebra at a time. A controlled, strong roll-up where your ribs stay knit, your glutes are firing, and your lower back is protected (no over-arching).

This is one of our T โ€” F Studio community members and I have to share her story because it is exactly why I built this!
