I have many feelings about what this whole competition meant for me. It was about overcoming so many obstacles, from money issues to injuries, from lack of people’s empathy to doubting about my own abilities. I wouldn’t be able to overcome this without the support and love that my community provided me. It was beautiful to see it and to feel loved. To feel that I mattered and my dreams mattered too. It doesn’t matter where I am going after my time in US is over, I will carry this experience and the bronze medal wherever I go. Thanks to everyone who helped me, to everyone who showed me love and kindness. To finish I just wanna quote Bob Dylan “don’t criticize what you can’t understand”.

Quando você vê um desafio na internet e jura que vai dar boa 🤡
Eu já fiz esse combo umas trocentas vezes no pole e me animei quando vi que @pole.raquel falou que nas barras horizontal foi mais “fácil”. Pensei comigo “esse é o meu momento”. Não foi 🥲
Acredito se eu conseguisse mais espaço entre minhas mãos, ia me ajudar a ficar mais perto das barras e consequentemente meu quadril não pesaria tanto e seria menos força nos braços. Mas como nessas barras o espaço maior que consegui foi esse, não rolou. Quem sabe eu tente de novo em outras barras. Daqui um tempo, pois estou traumatizade 😭🥺

Um pouquinho da minha performance no bar Dominatrix aqui em SP. Essa foi a minha primeira oportunidade de estar performando aqui na selva de pedra e fiquei muito feliz com essa oportunidade.
Montar uma performance de 8 minutos foi algo definitivamente desafiador e que me fez sair totalmente da minha zona de conforto.
Aqui eu brinco com gênero, com poder, com BDSM, e cutuco essa obsessão humana por encaixar tudo em caixinhas bem comportadas.

Sinceramente eu fico em choque que essa foi a primeira coreografia que eu criei no pole. Admiro muito a baby pole dancer Mari que em 2023 criou essa coreo após um mês de ter comprado o primeiro salto pro pole. Estar revisitando ela agora pra ensinar nas minhas aulas tem sido uma delicinha de ver de onde eu sai e pra onde estou indo. Gostoso demais também de perceber que desde o início, eu sempre gostei muito de trabalhar com a musicalidade e expressão corporal. Enfim, em breve comemoro 4 anos de pole na minha vida, e rever minha trajetória sempre me faz ficar emocionade 🥹
