B58 Strikes Again
This one isn’t your standard B58. This has a full Stage 3 Hybrid Setup
The result of this was 640WHP, using @mslperformance conversion factors we end up at 770BHP
Tuned via @mhd.tuning
Stage 3 Build includes:
- Complete Stock Unopened B58
- Daw 6769 @dynamicautowerx
- Dorch DS25 HPFP @dorch_engineering
- Osprey Front Mount Intake @osprey_performance
- Cooling Mist Port Methanol Kit @coolingmistuk
- DO88 Intel Manifold @do88performance
- Midnight Developments 3.5 inch Exhaust @midnightdevelopments
- HP70 Gearbox Swap / @sutphintuning Gearbox Map
- @dcautoperformance for all mechanical work & fitting to the vehicle
- @vogue.automotive for supplying the vehicle
This has been an amazing project to work on, using the correct modifications we’ve ended up with a car making great power but also extremely drivable and consistent. It also shows again how good of a platform the B58 is as long as they are looked after. This car gets the oil and filter changed every 6 to 8 weeks and has had no issues over the past 10,000 miles while running this setup bar the original gearbox slipping.
The car has achieved an amazing 9.88 1/4 mile time while being on the original open diff and still being an all round great daily driver.
Next things to add will be Port Injection along with a LPFP upgrade, this will allow us to run without the port methanol if we choose too.
