I am so excited to share the launch of a new monthly residency… The @studiocrumb jam sessions…launching next Tuesday 21st April at @referencepoint180 in collaboration with @180.studios (free entry) 🎶😎🤎

This project is an absolute dream come true and very much something I’ve wanted to do since I was 20 years old… I just never found the time or to make it happen!! To create a space where musicians and poets can come together in the heart of our city, play together and deepen the connection is something that is very important to the fabric of London. It was at STEEZ 10 years ago in Deptford that I first found the courage to perform my poetry as a teenager in a space where I felt seen and heard… and I can’t emphasise how important that was in the beginnings of my journey 🙏🏽🚀

My hope is that this can be a space where live music, poetry and DJ culture can converge… where I can facilitate a cross-pollination of like-minded people who can come together in a relaxed but intentional space. Whether to simply listen… or to find the courage to share their expression in a safe space. I’m so pleased that this will be MONTHLY from June onwards 🌹⭐️

For this launch, I’m so pleased to be hosting one of my favourite new Jazz bands in London, @sulatrio… They will be playing a headline set on the evening!!! Its gonna be special 😍

Haseeb launches a new residency at the iconic @barbicancentre, kicking off with this week’s sold out Friday evening session of Beats & Boards 🎲🚀

Following 2 and a half years at the Tate Modern, we are so incredibly excited to be bringing our board games and music night to another inimitable cultural institution of London: the Barbican. A number of games will be provided & you are welcome to bring your own too⚡️🌹

Tickets for each session will be available on the Barbican website ⭐️

I’m delighted to share that my residency at the Tate Modern, Beats & Boards, turns 2-years old this month! 🥳🎲🎶

It’s the greatest joy to hold down one of the first ever regular music nights at the world’s most iconic art gallery, bringing people together through music, board games & stories… anchored through a beautiful midweek evening energy which feels so incredibly wholesome every single time. Thank you to every single of you who have come through so far. I find this project so inspiring and am very grateful for all of the engagement and energy 🙏🏽🤎

To celebrate, we are hosting a very special event on Saturday 25th October, bringing in our first ever instalment of live music into a Beats and Boards session. The deeply talented and enchantingly skilled @miriamadefris will be treating us to a solo harp performance as the board games unfold for this celebration 😩🌹⚡️ Her work with @ganavya, @floatingpoints & @shabakahutchings has blown me away and I’m too excited to see her do her thing solo this time!! 😎

Entry is free and we hope the special Saturday edition can mean that people from outside of London are able to attend more easily 👊🏽
