Itโs OFFICIALLY almost time to film my thesis so I can actually graduateโฆ. and that also means we gotta raise the funds to make it happen!!! ((link in bio for campaign)) ๐๐
I have 30 DAYS to raise at minimum 80% of our goal which would amount to $12,000 in order to shoot this project!! I know itโs wild but there is no better goal than this for me to nosedive into!!! A year ago I wrote this for a class and it ended up being my very favorite thing Iโve ever written. ๐ฆท โTWO-THIRTYโ ๐ฆท is an eccentric story about a struggling actress who seeks a radical dental procedure from a dentist named Dr. Smileafyle and she quickly finds herself lost in his bizarre clinic world. At its core, itโs about the pursuit of perfection, the craving for validation, and the disturbing consequences of sacrificing your identity to achieve it.
We have a whole team, of very creative, talented artists, ๐จ who are a part of bringing this to life!! The wonderful @itsaayesha will be co-directing along my side, @maafrika_setona will be co-producing, Sachin Vinay as our DP, @illustriousmind our AD, @rincprod as our Gaffer, @andreafigueroachavez_ and @eldritch_vagrant leading the production design and set dressing team, @teni_olao Location Manager + Production Design Team, @guill_rt rn our storyboard artist, and campaign video director, our sculptor/practical effects artist @leland.stewart, @_abigailchung our graphic artist, @kajadnan our casting director, @sofibayardo casting, BTS, and production design team, @keniahallow, @asiansituation, & @coyote_joanna, @chef.aaron.zemla production design team and a few more roles to be confirmed!!

Exciting news is HERE!!! ๐จ I am thrilled to finally officially share we are putting on the play โFool For Loveโ by Sam Shepard and tickets are available for purchase (in my bio)! ๐ฑ๐๏ธ For the last few months we have been working SOO hard to do this and I really canโt wait for us to debut our first official production. It will be @coyote_joannafirst time directing, @alecartisofficial (myself) - first time producing and @sofibayardo first time stage managing - all of us acting OR on the crew really poured SOO much into this happening. We will be performing at the @skiptownplayhouse on May 24th and May 31st! ๐ซถ๐ป๐ Huge thank you to all the amazing artists involved in pulling this together. My heart is filled with so much joy!!
