With friends at the always beautifully done @sipnbloom event hosted with @amyseemanhere at the beautiful location @everlyfarmsmn .What a show!
Thanks to everyone who visited us during AAW. ❤️ there’s so much do and you made to our little corner of the party. It was my very first Motion Portrait insta-favorite download experience and WOW did it work out great. So thank you.We will for-sure do it again next year.I’ll continue to post new images and all the good times that surround us here at studio 121. ❤️☀️🙌🏻

Sometimes you have to throw yourself fully into something simply because it feeds your soul. Today was one of those days.
The morning began with a classic @sipnbloom at @moxy_mpls_downtown, but after the workshop wrapped we still had buckets of leftover flowers, so I texted @shellymosman to see if she could use them for her Art-A-Whirl installation at @casketarts.
And from there… the day just unfolded beautifully.
Time spent bonding with an artist I’ve admired for years. Meeting her clients, friends, collaborators, and wandering neighboring studios talking shop, creativity, life, and dreaming up future ideas. We even started brainstorming a collaboration with @osamaesid which honestly feels wildly exciting.
As the dust of the day settled (and yes… the crocodile), we started packing things up for the night. But then creativity sparked again and we both looked at each other like… “one more shot?”
And naturally one turned into two because we were having way too much fun creating together.
Sitting for Shelly feels like a huge deal to me. She has such a prolific viewpoint and somehow manages to make you feel ethereal, cinematic, romantic, and slightly otherworldly all at once. That’s what kept drawing me back into her studio today. That feeling of pure creation. Pure beauty.
These images genuinely take my breath away. It feels like I’m some florist from another lifetime standing near a stormy Viking sea selling flowers, potions, and possibly casting spells on my enemies. Which honestly feels on brand.
How special it is to create with the real deal. Thank you friend for opening your world to me today. I left feeling very inspired, very grateful, and very creatively full.
And if you haven’t experienced Art-A-Whirl yet, tomorrow is your last chance to catch @shellymosman’s mini photo sessions at @casketarts from 12–5 PM. I truly could not recommend it more. ✨
