A handful of people seem to have connected with our song Adult Friend Finder off our new album so we figured we’d tell you about it. This was the one song we didn’t record or produced ourselves at The ranch. We linked up with our dear friend @gregorylattimer, who produced Floral Canyon & Bad Latitude, and worked with him on this song. We tracked it at his studio @makesoundgood in Nashville. It felt like old times making our first records together. Gregory was also the person who originally suggested that Kristyn sing with me in the band. We’ve both always been so glad that he did. The song is about how strange and difficult it is to make new friends as an adult. Between careers and families and life in general, I felt like it was important to remember your good friends have your back, even if you haven’t spoken in forever. There were moments in my friends lives that I regret not being present for, but I hope they know that I’m there for them if they ever need me. Thanks for listening 👂
