Just this one is a better at what I was trying to say. This is Casey. When she and I lived together, before and after that all she did was create art. Her art. It’s what made her happy. This is while we lived together. Holding up her hands covered in ink, paint charcoal etc.

I discovered an amazing artist in Massachusetts Olivia Faulkner @livi_gigi_art. Loved her work so commissioned a custom piece (not this piece). After I had it and loved it a couple months later talked to her more. Wanted another. We talked about our lives. The things we’ve been through. The near death brain injury I have and about the “recovery” that will last the rest of my life. Funny I guess, she works in rehab nursing so understood the way many do not. Commissioned same size. 24x36. They accidentally sent her 2 canvases so she combined them. She used techniques she hadn’t before and created this. “Forthrightly Overcoming”. This piece means so much to both of us. She is an amazing artist, health care worker/caregiver and human being. Click on her instagram ID and you’ll see her work.
