Thanks to everyone that came down to see me play last weekend which means getting back into music properly again after a very challenging last year. A lot of broken equipment, a finished psychotherapy related degree, a move to a new city on the horizon, and generally introducing a new personal era, one that I find myself in after long periods of contemplation.
Participating used to be enough to feel free in this little realm but career, commercialization, ego, ideologies, peer pressure and the juggle between them all have in no doubt changed it.
It's been a now roughly 15 year commitment to electronic music for me since starting out at age 17 which included 10 years going and playing out abroad in dozens of countries. It's fair to say that this year marks a kind of completion, one that will release more freedom for the road ahead.
What will always remain is my passion for sound and the social aspect of it which I feel to change towards something that I was once starting out with. Different areas of music that allow more experimentation with a greater sense of physicality involved, something that the upcoming mixes and releases should be about. The recent years were tough in many ways but I trust that the music itself can bring peace, if we let it.

From this week on, I am allowed to practice psychotherapy. It's the first important step towards offering my service in this therapeutic craft.
My own therapist, Pete, did in his 70s not only aid me with my own degree, he also helped me to find the man that I always sought to be, the one that I always forgot about to be since the experience of my own father's and step-father's loss as a teenager.
He would say there is never enough people to help people and showed me that therapy is not a one-way street but that it isn't also the death sentence that we believe to give ourselves.
People closer to me will know how much I questioned overcoming my own bias due to my personal history, hence I am even happier now about the positive encouragement that gave me the conviction to be able to help others deal with their individual suffering.
Straight and narrow is the path ... Waste no time.
