‼️ Welcome Off Knowneous to Capital City AnimeFest ‼️

OFF‑KNOWNEOUS is a J-rock band from Jersey City, NJ on a mission to share their passion for Japanese music with the world! Consisting of members Jooyoung Lee, Michael Cozine, Jason Mallonga,and Jack Schaeffer, the band bonded over their love of Asian pop culture, anime, and alternative rock music.
Starting out by covering favorite artists like ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, Radwimps, and Bump of Chicken, OFF‑KNOWNEOUS now carves out their own sound — writing original songs in English and Japanese that fuse generations of rock from both sides of the Pacific. Expect high-energy sets packed with driving riffs, infectious hooks, and a celebration of J-rock and punk spirit.

Bocchi The Rock was one of the biggest inspirations for starting OFF-KNOWNEOUS. It portrayed a band in their beginning stages pursuing music for love of the game, friendship, and the pursuit of improving oneself. I tried to capture some of that energy in this new song that I can’t wait to share with you all hopefully soon, but for now, here is the guitar solo!
