Objects keeps its name and enters a new chapter, with production now back inside the plant. The team, machines and know-how remain in place, covering galvanics, pressing, quality control and logistics.

Yoyaku continues from Paris with its record store, labels and distribution activity. Berlin adds a new home for manufacturing.

Kurtezy will also launch from the Berlin facility, creating a direct link between the plant, independent labels, artists and record stores.

A test pressing (often called a “TP”) is the very first small batch of records made from your freshly cut and plated stampers. Usually, only 3-5 copies are pressed.

Its purpose is to check everything before full production starts:

• Audio quality – making sure the cut translates well onto vinyl.

• Pressing quality – verifying groove depth, stereo balance, center holes, and general consistency.

• Compatibility – ensuring the record plays correctly on turntables.

• Final approval – giving the artist, label, and pressing plant confidence before running hundreds or thousands of copies.

It’s critical because once the full pressing round starts, any error (whether in the cut, plating, or pressing) would be multiplied across the entire run.

Approving the test pressing means you’re satisfied with both the sound and the pressing quality, locking in the green light for final production.

For orders above 400 records, we highly recommend pallet shipping. Not only is it more efficient, it also reduces the risk of damage to outer sleeves and packaging.

While no shipping method can ever be 100% free from carrier handling issues, we do everything possible on our side: careful in-house packing, reinforced protection, and working with trusted logistics partners.

Meet Vipin – part of our Electroplating team at Objects.
With a strong background in quality assurance and inventory control, Vipin brings precision, discipline, and a sharp eye for detail to our in-house galvanics department. His experience at Tesla and Hive Technologies, combined with his aviation mechanics training, makes him a valuable force behind the accuracy and consistency of our stamper production.
