Protect the people who make your nervous system exhale.
After doing some reflection after my last little side quest, Ive come to realize...Thereβs a certain kind of chaos that comes with a life always in motion, always arriving, always leaving, never quite still. And in that rhythm, Iβve learned to look for the people who feel like grounding. The friends and connections that dont add noise. Not loud, not heavy, just steady,the kind of people that make everything feel a little less like life is slipping through your hands.
Through the many heartbreaks, deaths, life changes, one massive mental breakdown π
, I owe you all (you know who you are)
A quiet appreciation for all of the connections, all the friendships who've helped me feel grounded - nothing more, nothing less.
Love you all β€

Thank you so so soooo much, @mr.leo.777, for showing me that jumping out of planes is still fun. And for yelling at the door monsters with me. πΉ π§ββοΈ
Anyone who has talked to me personally has known I've been really struggling with continuing my stp/aff course.
After the first two dive flows, I couldn't seem to see skydiving as anything other than this big scary, overwhelming monster, and I was really considering stopping completely, just couldn't find any way out of the fear that was swallowing me and I definitely wasn't seeing it as anything fun...
After about 2 months of avoiding jumping, todayI drove back to the drop zone and almost decided I wasn't going to try jumping anymore, I was leaning more towards being done, was terrified to even do a tandem π€―. But thanks to Leo, and his kind words and fun freefall therapy session of screaming at the "sky demons" with me, I was able to actually have fun with it again and I am actually excited, for once, about continuing the course.
@mr.leo.777and @skydivespaceland_sanmarcos I will see you on Wednesday π¬
