The 2026 Nollies Skateboard Contest in Carolina Beach was one for the books.
Held in honor of Alec Chambers, the day was packed with heavy lines, huge sends, and more than a few absolute bangers. From technical tricks to full-send, the level of riding was unreal and the energy from the crowd made it even better.

Folks have been asking how our new Monolith humbuckers compare to our dB humbuckers.

Aside from the obvious difference in build design, the two models sound different enough to justify a comparison.

The dB offers a percussive, fat, and throaty growl. And the Monolith is brighter and tighter with a biting top end, punchy attack, and more articulate midrange. Whereas the dB is like a sledgehammer, the Monolith is a bit more of a jackhammer.

And today my baby is double digits.

Judah, you were born into sunshine and salt air, raised barefoot in nature, climbing, exploring, chasing waves, creatures and curiosity. Even now, after almost three years under the Carolina skies, you still carry that island spirit in you — free, adventurous, alive.

You are outgoing and funny and just the right amount of wild. You’re incredibly intelligent, confident, and brave enough to try anything — from every sport you throw yourself into, to your newest love: aviation. Watching you dream about flying planes and seeing your eyes light up when you talk about the sky is pure magic.

Eden is so lucky to have a big brother like you, you are her protector and her shield, but also her main source of laughter and companionship, partnership and love. Giving you a sibling was the greatest joy of my life.

You are so well-rounded, so active, so full of life. But more than anything, you are kind. You are thoughtful. You are empathetic and loving. You are a joy to raise. We have definitely grown, learned and healed together these past 10 years.

I pray you always stay rooted in nature, confident in who you are, unafraid to shine, and bold enough to chase every dream placed on your heart.

We are so proud of the young man you’re becoming. The joy you’ve brought into our lives for the past ten years is beyond words.
