Unlimited cocktails for 2 hours and a menu packed with Mexican and Latin American flavours 🍹🌮

We headed down to Las Iguanas to try their £39.95 bottomless brunch, starting with a Miami Vice and a Hot Honey Mango Margarita from the Festival de Sol menu.

Food-wise, we tried the black bean and cheese quesadillas, patatas bravas, king prawns in lemon and chilli butter, roasted corn and feta tacos, and the Brazilian curry with halloumi and padrón peppers.

‘Childhood’ is the latest 6 course tasting menu from Six by Nico, celebrating all the classic flavours from our childhood

This meal was so much fun and a great excuse to feel like a kid again 🙌🏼

POV: your hot pot obsession just got even better because they now have a FULL halal menu 🤍✨

Such a fun spot for a catch-up, date night, or even a birthday 🥹

For £40 for TWO people, the halal set menu comes with starters, your choice of veg + meat + sides, plus plum juice… we still ended up with a table FULL of food 😭 very good value tbh.

A few highlights:
✨ Ordering is all on an iPad, and the halal menu is clearly marked (love an easy life)
✨ Free snacks, games, water + lemon water as soon as you walk in
✨ Your food gets delivered by a robot (yes, actually 🤖)
✨ DIY dipping sauce station,I’m m convinced I made the perfect sauce
✨ The fried buns with condensed milk were elite
✨ The bean curd soaked up all the broth so perfectly
✨ Lamb was also SO good

Also… the bathroom had mouthwash / toothbrush setup, which feels oddly luxurious?? 😂

And if it’s your birthday, they’ll decorate your table and make it all cute 🥹

In no particular order I wanted to shout out @ohmy_pieco at @radicalroastersuk for their innovative yet ultra ultra comforting pies, this place is really growing a following so I’d suggest getting their asap to try for yourself! Next time I want to try the lime pie 🥧

@drizzleloaf does what it says on the loaf tin (hehe) expect moist loaf cakes with a variety of new and contemporary flavours, they also have so many lovely local collaborations within their own menu too, plus homemade drink syrups which is a tasty touch!

Finally, @lunitapasteleria has been around for quite a while now, I love their breakfasts but I don’t think their sweet treats are talked about enough, I mean a savoury dulce de leche meringue cake? wild but incredible, and PERFECT with a expertly crafted flat white.
