After two and a half amazing years at @runwiththegoldenwolf, they alongside Doodles had to unfortunately make the hard decision to wind down the 2D department, which has resulted in my redundancy as a 2D animator.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry while at Golden Wolf. The community the studio has cultivated is so special to me—the energy, the tunes, and the banter were all part of the fun. They dedicated so much to help foster my growth as an animator ever since I started as an intern, and I’ve learned so much from each and every talented individual there, and, of course, from the studio dogs too!

I’ve created some of my proudest work while at GW, so it’s with great pride that I announce I am officially freelancing with this shiny new showreel. If you're looking for a 2D animator who does character and FX work, feel free to shoot me a message!

I’m determined and super excited to take this as an opportunity for fresh challenges and growth. In the short time since then, I’ve even managed to start my own indie animation studio, @studioziplock , and release a trailer with some incredibly talented people! I’m very excited to move forward, explore new places, and work with new (and old) friends.

A never before seen fight of the mentor and student between timelines, coming Summer 2025! #GohanvsTrunks 🗡️

What started as a small animation collab between Ian, Kiyoshi and Santi at Annecy's Animation Festival, quickly became a passion project that grew so big, we had to make a trailer for it instead! We wanted to see two of our favourite characters, Gohan and Trunks, who share so much history and potential together interact more. So we thought, what better way to make this a reality than to animate them ourselves?

Over the next few months we found ourselves working with more and more people as the project grew, all brought together by our collective love for Dragon Ball. There was no funding at all, so this trailer and eventual full fight is only possible thanks to the amazing team, their dedication, and support. So please check them all out below!

It’s been a blast making this trailer, and we’re extremely proud of how this passion project has turned out so far. It’s been a true labour of love, so we hope you look forward to the full fight!

I’m really proud of what we created for the sakuga bits💥 It was super fun working alongside the familiar Ziplock crew @to_kiyoshi and @santico_art on this + the amazingly talented @lon_ion_jon @de4th_punch , and @sixtine_james who pulled everything together with their FX work 🔥

And a huge shoutout to the team for achieving all of it in such a short amount of time! @christianboevingandersen @sublune @jessnicholls_ad @metteilene @kimstrandli and so many others were absolute powerhouses, and have been an absolute pleasure to work with! ✨

Hey everyone! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all the support since our #GohanvsTrunks trailer release! ❤️‍🔥

In the past 2 weeks, we’ve gotten over 340k views and 15k likes across all our posts on social media, that’s a lot of people! (OVER 9000!!) It means so much to know that Dragon Ball fans are enjoying the passion project we’re putting out there. To have the opportunity to share our love for Akira Toriyama and his legacy is truly such an honour, so we’ll continue to do our best for the Summer release!

We thought it’d be nice to round off our trailer release with an animation showcase of Gohan slowly transitioning into SSJ2. This shot was a joint effort between our three co-directors - with @eee_in on the key animation + body clean up, @to_kiyoshi on smoke FX + hair clean up, and @santico_art on the clothes clean up. It took all three of us to complete this crazy shot, and it’s honestly one of our favourites 🔥
