My three goals have always been 1) make music that I love, 2) get people dancing to music I love, and 3) play the music that’s highly underrepresented in the nightlife. Money was always secondary.
However, there was one goal that was always at the top of my list that I haven’t reached until now — hold down a residency at the infamous Golden Bear.
You can now officially find me at the Golden Bear - Back Bar every second Saturday. I’m honored and grateful for the opportunity, thanks so much to the GB fam.
GB really is a special place. One of the few venues where I have the creative freedom to play anything I want unapologetically and where it’s appreciated. Every set I play at GB, it’s always been a mission of mine to play music that you won’t hear at most other venues — that’s the beauty of GB. It’s probably one of the few places where you can walk in on a random Tuesday afternoon and hear Turnstile or Toro Y Moi being played.
Some of my favorite DJs have either previously held down a night or currently still do hold down a night at GB. Honored to be included in that list.. 🙏
