I don’t think I have ever worked on a project that has been a Christmas no.1
But this album could not be more deserving
Thanks to the amazing team at Sony, special thanks to Charlie Stanford & Elliot Stubbs, but undying thanks to @jcheusr for having the faith and having our backs
Surprisingly there was never a music video made for this extraordinary piece of music

I am often asked which out of all the videos I have worked on is my favourite and everyone is surprised to hear that it’s Invisible Light by Scissor Sisters & not one of the Radiohead or blur vids, which are all amazing … well most of them :)

But there’s something about this video; to me it’s music video perfection, impossible to put into words as to why
but it just is

And everyone else who worked for so long with far too little money to make this music video masterpiece

With @radiohead just dropping the live recordings of Hail to The Thief, it felt like the right moment to bring out the amazing video from that album, There There directed by Chris Hopewell @jackknifeprints

We originally wanted Oliver Postgate to direct it, not sure if his genius made it to the US but in the UK, Bagpuss, Clangers, Noggin the Nog is what us Gen X-ers grew up on
Being 78 at the time he politely declined

Chris more than delivered though, as did Thom as always

With MTV being the powerhouse it once was, a song could live or die on the strength of the video alone and if it didn’t land all eyes were on you;but then again if did land all eyes were on you :)
