Martin Parr FDN
Gallery, library, studio, archive and @MPFbookshop; championing British documentary photography and preserving the legacy of Martin Parr.

Today would have been Martin Parr’s 74th birthday 💙
When not away on shoot, Martin was at the Foundation on a day-to-day basis, making rounds of tea for the team, developing his latest works, welcoming visitors, tidying away the recycling, and calling out to the studio from the MPF library to put on a House, Daft Punk or Van Morrison playlist.
We miss Martin greatly. While we continue to adapt to a new rhythm here at the Foundation without him, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from the photography community and those who have been influenced by Martin or touched by his work.
Martin will always be in our hearts.
