Quieroexpresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a cada uno de ustedes. Su dedicación al servicio de nuestra comunidad en el distrito 3 ha sido verdaderamente inspiradora. Siempre han dado lo mejor de sí en cada asignación, con una actitud positiva, profesionalismo y un compromiso inquebrantable.

No podríamos haber estado mejor representados que con este equipo excepcional, lleno de deseos de servir con excelencia. Cada uno de ustedes ha dado la milla extra, sin escatimar tiempo ni esfuerzos, movidos no por ambiciones políticas o económicas, sino por un genuino deseo de representar nuestra oficina con dignidad.
Sin duda han dejado una huella imborrableen la historia de la Ciudad de Miami.

Dear residents and constituents,
Today, on my final day as your Miami Commissioner, I want to express my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart. These years have been a long journey filled with challenges and accomplishments, but above all, they have been defined by the warmth and support you have shown me. I am truly honored to have had the privilege of serving you.

My wife Marjorie and I now embark on a new chapter in our lives. Although I am leaving this office, my commitment to helping others does not end here. With God’s guidance, I hope to continue contributing in any way I can to improve lives.

Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and for allowing me to be part of the great District 3 family. I will always cherish the memories of so many meaningful moments we shared together.
I wish you all the very best in the future, as well as a very Merry Christmas and a New Year 2026 filled with health and blessings.

Hoy, en mi último día como su Comisionado de Miami, quiero expresarles desde lo más profundo de mi corazón mi más sincero agradecimiento. Estos años han sido un largo camino lleno de desafíos y logros, pero sobre todo y lo más importante, lleno de la calidez y el apoyo que ustedes me han brindado, me siento profundamente honrado de haber podido servirles.

Junto a mi esposa Marjorie nos embarcamos en un nuevo capítulo en nuestras vidas. Aunque dejo este cargo, mi compromiso de ayudar no termina aquí. De la mano de Dios, espero seguir contribuyendo a mejorar vidas de cualquier manera que pueda.

Gracias por su confianza, su cariño y por permitirme ser parte de la gran familia del Distrito 3. Siempre llevaré con cariño los recuerdos de tantos momentos imborrables compartidos con ustedes.

Historic Finale in Little Havana!

Last night, we closed a chapter that will forever mark the cultural history of our community.

District 3 of the City of Miami, led by Commissioner Joe Carollo, celebrated the final Viernes Pequeña Habana of 2025, bringing to an end more than seven years of art, music, tradition, and unforgettable moments shared with thousands of families.

The energy was unforgettable. Afro 23, Evelyn, and our beloved Baby Salomé lit up the stage, showcasing the local talent that has been the heart of this program since the very beginning.

The most anticipated moment of the night was the Grand Christmas Tree Lighting, a beautiful and emotional celebration that officially opened the festive season at Domino Park Plaza.

A night to remember… filled with lights, music, and community.

Thank you to every neighbor, artist, artisan, family, volunteer, and team member who helped make these years a true cultural legacy for District 3.
We continue working with heart — for you and because of you.

¡Final histórico en la Pequeña Habana!

La noche del pasado viernes cerramos un ciclo que marcará para siempre la historia cultural de nuestra comunidad.

El Distrito 3 de la Ciudad de Miami, junto al Comisionado Joe Carollo, celebró el último Viernes Pequeña Habana del 2025, culminando más de siete años de arte, música, tradición y encuentros que unieron a miles de familias.

La energía fue inolvidable. Afro 23, Evelyn y nuestra querida Baby Salomé iluminaron el escenario con el talento local que ha sido esencia viva de este programa desde su inicio.

El momento más esperado fue el Gran Encendido del Árbol de Navidad, un instante lleno de emoción que abrió oficialmente la temporada festiva en la Plaza del Parque del Dominó.
Una noche para recordar… una noche que nos abrazó con luz, música y comunidad.

Gracias, Miami.
Gracias a cada vecino, artista, artesano, familia, voluntario y miembro del equipo que hizo de estos años un legado cultural para el Distrito 3.

Today, we successfully concluded the distribution of Thanksgiving turkeys, and this year we took an extra step by adding Christmas pork shoulders, ensuring that 6,500 families can enjoy unity, hope, and the flavors that remind us of home.
Thanks to the commitment and dedication of Commissioner Joe Carollo, this initiative—now part of his legacy in District 3—continues to bring joy, support, and blessings to thousands of households celebrating this season with full hearts.
Because to serve is an act of love, and during the holidays, to share is to give thanks.
Today we close this effort with the blessing of bringing food to the tables of thousands of District 3 residents.

Culminamos una de nuestras tradiciones más especiales y queridas por nuestra comunidad.
Hoy concluimos satisfactoriamente la entrega de pavos por Thanksgiving y, este año, dimos un paso más al sumar la paleta de pernil navideño para que 6,500 familias tengan en su mesa unión, esperanza y el sabor de nuestras raíces.

El evento más tierno del año fue todo un éxito
Este pasado viernes vivimos una tarde llena de alegría, amor y mucha energía peluda en nuestro Thanksgiving Pet Market.
Familias y mascotas disfrutaron de una experiencia única con juegos, sorpresas y momentos que nos recordaron por qué nuestros amigos de cuatro patas son parte esencial de nuestro hogar y nuestra comunidad.
Gracias a la visión y compromiso del Comisionado Joe Carollo, seguimos impulsando iniciativas que promueven la adopción responsable, el bienestar animal y espacios seguros donde nuestras familias, incluyendo las de patitas, puedan compartir y crecer juntas.

The sweetest event of the year was a complete success.
This past Friday we enjoyed an afternoon filled with joy, love, and lots of furry energy at our Thanksgiving Pet Market.
Families and pets experienced a unique day with games, surprises, and moments that reminded us why our four-legged friends are such an essential part of our homes and our community.
Thanks to the vision and commitment of Commissioner Joe Carollo, we continue promoting initiatives that support responsible adoption, animal wellness, and safe spaces where our families —including the furry ones— can grow, connect, and enjoy together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, adopted, supported, and celebrated with us.

Here’s a post from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that I believe is extremely important to share. My wife Marjorie and I have been pioneers in women’s health, and we’re glad to see this conversation happening on a national level. We’ve always advocated for women’s health within our community.

Just a few months ago, we hosted a wonderful event with Revolution M+, where we had an incredible panel of women discussing hormones and women’s health. I encourage you all to watch this video and educate yourselves so you can better support the women in your lives.

Aquí les dejo un post del U.S. Department of Health and Human Services que considero muy importante compartir. Mi esposa Marjorie y yo hemos sido pioneros en la salud de la mujer y nos alegra ver que este tema se esté discutiendo a nivel nacional. Siempre hemos impulsado la salud femenina dentro de nuestra comunidad.

Hace apenas unos meses realizamos un evento maravilloso junto a Revolution M+, donde tuvimos un panel increíble de mujeres hablando sobre las hormonas y la salud de la mujer. Los invito a ver este video y a educarse para poder apoyar aún mejor a las mujeres en sus vidas.

Comenzamos una de las tradiciones más hermosas y esperadas de nuestra comunidad: la entrega de pavos para Thanksgiving.
Y este año dimos un paso más… nos adelantamos para que cada familia pueda tener en su mesa de Navidad una paleta de pernil que represente unión, esperanza y bendición.
Son 6,500 familias que, gracias al compromiso y la dedicación del Comisionado Joe Carollo, podrán celebrar estas fechas con el corazón lleno y la mesa servida.
Porque servir a nuestra gente es un acto de amor, y compartir es una forma de agradecer.
Que esta temporada nos recuerde que todo lo que damos y recibimos proviene de la bondad infinita de Dios.

And this year, we went even further—making sure families can also enjoy a Christmas dinner filled with hope and abundance by providing a traditional seasoned pork shoulder.
Thanks to the commitment and dedication of Commissioner Joe Carollo, 6,500 families will be able to celebrate this season with a full table and a grateful heart, because serving our community is an act of love, and sharing is one of the purest ways to give thanks.
May this season remind us that everything we give and everything we receive comes from God’s endless grace.
