@monemusic_ Most Ambitious Project Yet, An 11 Track Full Length Album Titled ‘Lucid Dreams’ On Bøne.FM

Written over an intense, self-contained stretch of just under two weeks in early 2025, the record did not begin with a concept or intention. Instead, it unfolded instinctively,a continuous stream of ideas shaped by emotion, repetition, and immersion. The result is a body of work that feels less like a collection of tracks and more like a document of a state:hazy, introspective, and at times, disorienting. A quiet duality runs through the album: presence and absence, clarity and detachment, movement and stillness. These tensions are not imposed, but inherent.. felt in the pacing, the restraint, and the weight each track carries. Where MONé’s previous and forthcoming EPs lean toward more defined sonic frameworks, Lucid Dreams turns inward. It resists structure in favor of feeling, allowing each piece to unfold without force or resolution.

This is MONé at his most unguarded - not in what is said, but in what is left unsaid.

I turn 37 today.

Would’ve loved to play a birthday DJ set or something of the sort, but it wasn’t to be. So I settled for the next best thing within my realm of possibility - a 2 hour birthday mix.

One take. 140-155 bpm. Hardgroove, Hard House, Eurodance, Trance, Ghetto House, Speed Garage Juke, all with an uplifting theme throughout the mix. Feel good vibes all around. 

I’ve poured my heart and soul into every piece of art that I’ve worked on. This mix too, no less. I turn 37 today.

Would’ve loved to play a birthday DJ set or something of the sort, but it wasn’t to be. So I settled for the next best thing within my realm of possibility - a 2 hour birthday mix.

One take. 140-155 bpm. Hardgroove, Hard House, Eurodance, Trance, Ghetto House, Speed Garage Juke, all with an uplifting theme throughout the mix. Feel good vibes all around. 

I’ve poured my heart and soul into every piece of art that I’ve worked on. This mix too, no less. I dedicate this mix to the very few people in my life who’ve shown me kindness and empathy and who believe in me as a human being and as an artist. And I’m so grateful they exist and continue to entertain my presence despite all my oddities and eccentricities. Thank you for existing in my life.

Also - My DJ set for @planetkalemusic will be up on YouTube on 7th May. My latest single ‘Where There is a Will’ releases on all platforms on 10th May and I got something nice planned for the 12th too. Stay tuned :)
