Die Gabber Eleganza x Never Sleep-Night setzt ein klares Statement für Hardcore, Gabber und Breakcore in ihrer kompromisslosen Form. Gabber Eleganza ist das Projekt des italienischen Künstlers Alberto Guerrini, der aus einem digitalen Archiv heraus eine kreative Plattform und sein eigenes Label Never Sleep aufgebaut hat, das die Energie der frühen Rave- und Hardcore-Kultur mit zeitgenössischer Kunst und elektronischer Musik verbindet. Zusammen mit Mino Luchena und XHL UNIT präsentiert das Never Sleep Showcase auf Fridas Pier brachialen, schnellen Sound zwischen Gabber, Hardcore und Breakcore, während es bereits ab 16 Uhr auf dem Oberdeck mit den lokalen Hardcore Generators auch Open Air richtig zur Sache geht – mindestens 13 Stunden kann also den harten Kanten der elektronischen Szene gehuldigt werden, wird wild!

The record explores the darkest corners of the hardcore aesthetic through two interconnected tracks: “Witchcraft pt1” delivers a raw, straight-to-the-face return to old school hardcore while “Witchcraft pt2” dives into fragmented 90’s dark jungle rave style. A dirty, visceral, and esoteric EP made for the bravest sound-systems.
