A few months of studio work with @sarahesmeharrison
Sarah is a painter and works predominantly in oil and collage. Sarah has been joining me in studio regularly since the summer to experiment, create sculptural works and learn about glazing.
I love seeing how painters approach glazing and three dimensional construction. When we work together, Sarah uses her intuition to come up with exciting new techniques , and I guide her through any potential variables or issues.

Pictured here, Sarah is layering various stains with crackle and crystalline glazes as well as glazing a sculptural piece.
Sarah and I have worked together on numerous projects over the years, curating, collaborating and attending a residency together. I am so grateful to also have had the chance to work with Sarah on a limited run of sweatshirts and hoodies for Various. I’m already out of them but maybe we will make more😏🫣

Sarah is a painter and works predominantly in oil and collage. Sarah has been joining me in studio regularly since the summer to experiment, create sculptural works and learn about glazing.
I love seeing how painters approach glazing and three dimensional construction. When we work together, Sarah uses her intuition to come up with exciting new techniques , and I guide her through any potential variables or issues.

Sarah and I have worked together on numerous projects over the years, curating, collaborating and attending a residency together. I am so grateful to also have had the chance to work with Sarah on a limited run of sweatshirts and hoodies for Various. I’m already out of them but maybe we will make more😏🫣
