There are 5 colour ways, but all woven on the same Navy/Grey striped warp (vertical yarns).
They are super soft, and the perfect length to tie one knot. The ideal scarf for this in-between winter-spring time!

These scarves are 100% merino wool and woven in Prato, Italy.
The design is based on a sample I wove a while ago. The check created by a striped warp and weft is distorted by weaving some sections loosely and some more densely.

Labels are 100% cotton, woven in the Netherlands @eelabels

Finally used up this stripy red and white warp I’ve had hanging in the studio for 2 years! Woven with Elastic wool twisted in Berlin by @hilo_textiles. The check pattern reveals itself most when stretched! Delicious!!

The machine is generally used to make wool felt mats, with carded wool going straight through the machine while 3000 needles felt the wool together. I had the idea of hand pleating and felting just a section of a fabric to create a pleated skirt. I used wool woven at the mill and it worked! Even better, the power of the 3000 needles (which happened to be positioned in a herringbone formation) created an almost ‘woollen braille’ texture as seen on the Navy Blue Wool Skirt in Look 3 and the Grey Wool Dress in Look 12.

Look 1: 100% Danish wool handwoven stretchy vest and handwoven pleated/felted skirt.

Berit from @lystbaekgaard generously gave me some yarn to weave with. One brown cone from a brown sheep and one beige cone from a beige sheep. The yarn was spun at @hjelholtsuldspinderi . Together with Sara from @hilo_textileswe high-twisted the yarn to make Stem Elastic wool. It worked better than ever and so we wove a 100% Danish wool handwoven stretchy vest and handwoven pleated and felted skirt to complete the look.

Look 1: 100% Danish wool handwoven stretchy vest and handwoven pleated/felted skirt.

Berit from @lystbaekgaard generously gave me some yarn to weave with. One brown cone from a brown sheep and one beige cone from a beige sheep. The yarn was spun at @hjelholtsuldspinderi . Together with Sara from @hilo_textileswe high-twisted the yarn to make Stem Elastic wool. It worked better than ever and so we wove a 100% Danish wool handwoven stretchy vest and handwoven pleated and felted skirt to complete the look.
