Stephen Curry announced the end of his sneaker free agency Monday with a massive deal at Li-Ning that extends his Curry Brand venture globally and encompasses basketball products, athleisure wear, the ability for Curry to sign athletes under his brand, and a full golf line.

Curry opted for Li-Ning over other appealing pitches from American and foreign companies. Part of Curry's ultimate decision was about his comfort while testing the shoes of two Li-Ning signature athletes: Jimmy Butler, his fellow Warriors teammate, and Dwyane Wade.

Mike Gansey — who rose the ranks within the Cavaliers front office since joining in 2011-12 — now lands the top executive position in Philadelphia.

Bob Myers, the four-time NBA championship architect of the dynasty Golden State Warriors who now serves as president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, led the search that lands Gansey as the 76ers' new President.

Myers will work closely in partnering with Gansey and assist in his vision for the organization.

Gansey has served as the GM under Cleveland President Koby Altman since 2022, helping build the team into a contender in the Eastern Conference.
