Refractive are launching a 6-week Advanced Skills course in Social Documentary Photography with acclaimed photographer Kirsty Mackay at the Liberal Club, Paisley.

This practical course is designed to help photographers develop their own visual voice while exploring people, place, identity and community through documentary practice. Expect hands-on exercises, discussion, feedback, and a chance to build a stronger body of work in a supportive creative environment.

The final event as part of Paisley Docs: Rebels and Innovators is the re-scheduled screening of the stunning documentary-drama hybrid Ramona by Victoria Linares Villegas! 🎭🎬

Ramona will be accompanied by Ya Dancer, a short community documentary by Bircan Birol and commissioned by the Govanhill Baths Culture Collective.
